The General Electric Athletic Club in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is a charming 9-hole course that was thoughtfully designed by Rowland Armacost back in 1965. The green, made of Bent Grass, and the fairway, made of Bluegrass, are meticulously maintained and typically aerated in May and September. The course opens at 7:00 AM, with the earliest tee time also at 7:00 AM, and closes at 5:00 PM. It's a steal to play here, with both weekday and weekend rates set at a very affordable $18. Please note that fivesome golf groups are not allowed, and with 20 bunkers scattered across the course, you're in for a challenging yet enjoyable round of golf.
